Mardi Gras Decorators created the Hydra for the Krewe of Caesar. The Hydra is a magnificent two-part tandem float, with seven fiberglass and fiber optic lit dragonheads.

We took this concept from a preliminary design to a completed float using our professional in house designers, carpenters, welders, painters and sculptors who worked in unison to create this masterpiece. For the finishing touch, we engineered animated dragonheads using pneumatic cylinders.

As a result, this signature float has become a Mardi Gras favorite and is truly our pride and joy! Let us create a spectacular float for you!
